Roger Mack Waters, 68, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at his home. He was a retired truck driver and also a veteran of the United States Army. Roger was of the Church of God faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie E. Waters; step father, George T. Walker; brother, Ronnie G. Waters; grandmother, Lena Walker; half sisters, Elaine Waters, Willie Mae Waters and Doris Collins; half brothers, Willie E. Waters, Jr. and Robert Waters. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Baliles Waters of Cleveland; mother, Lucille Walker of Cleveland; children, April Waters of Lexington, SC and Tonnia Brown and Tina McDougal, both of Cleveland; brothers, Charles E. Waters, Major Dan Waters and Donnie T. Waters; sisters, Patricia McGowen and Edith Watson; half brothers and sisters, Robbie Waters, William Waters, Cecil Walker and Charles LeRoy Waters; grandchildren, Matthew Waters, Joshua Waters, Amber Waters, Brittnee Fields, Drake Fields and Dusty Brown; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2014 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home. The interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
