Nancy Kinder Maddux Branam, 66, a lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away Saturday, August 2, 2014 in a local hospital. She was of the Baptist faith. Nancy was described by her family as a deeply loving, courageous, strong individual; she always demonstrated unconditional love toward them all. She loved to dance and be around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, they were her pride and joy. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Alexander Maddux; parents, John H. and Mary Ruth Kinder; siblings: Joan Southerland, Patsy Poteat, Sarah Kinder, Mary Linda Kinder, Richard Kinder, James Kinder and Ralph "Buster" Kinder. Survivors include her sons, David "Jackie" Maddux and wife Lela, John Maddux, Paul "Nick" Maddux and wife Misti; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; one brother, John Kinder; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2014 in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Dr. Jamison Work officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with grandsons, Mark Maddux, Anthony Maddux, Alex Maddux, Andrew Maddux, Gaven Kinder and Jon Dale serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 4, 2014 at the funeral home.
