Franklin A. Fritts

Franklin A. Fritts, 65, of Cleveland, passed away from this life Sunday morning, May 25, 2014 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Bradley County and graduated from Bradley Central High School in 1967. Frank was a member of Philippi Baptist Church. He was an employee of Santek Environmental. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Farris Fritts who passed away in 2012; parents, J. L. and Elizabeth Fritts; and special brother-in-law, Jerry Garland. Survivors include his daughter, Tina Roberts and husband, Kyle; son, Shane Fritts; grandchildren, Zach Roberts and wife, Stacy, Faith Goatley and husband, Matt and Jacob Roberts; sisters, Debbie Garland, Sandra Fannin and husband, Glen and Sharon Moss and husband, Mel; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ella and Steve Register, Patty and James Scott, Robby and Jane Farris, Linda Shockley, Ike Blackwell, David and Dean Farris and Perry and Becky Farris; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Sammy Hooker and Pastor Homer Roberts officiating. The interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Zach Roberts, Jacob Roberts, Michael Fannin, Chase Fannin, Jonathan Jones, Robby Farris, Tommy Roberts and Bricky Withrow serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. His family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
