Johnny B. Jones

Johnny B. Jones, 83, a resident of Portland, OR and formerly of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2013. He was born July 13, 1930 in Cleveland to the late Noah and Grace Jones. Johnny was a retired bus driver for the city of Portland. He enjoyed gardening. Survivors include his brother, George Jones and wife, Joo Soon, of San Diego, CA; sisters, Opal Purvis and husband, Al of Darien, IL and Nina Lindstrom and husband, Larry of Portland, OR; five children, David Jones and wife, Andrea, Dawn Carroll and Virginia Case, all of Cleveland, Kevin Jones of New Orleans, LA and Christie Jones of Portland, OR; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Johnny's life will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Lebanon Baptist Church.
