Lona M. Boothe, 89, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Mary Boyd Stevens; husband, Clinton A. Boothe; and infant son. Survivors include her children, Jackie Boothe and Mary Alice Hall, both of Cleveland; five grandchildren, Jackie Boothe, Jr., Christopher Boothe, Ryan Boothe, Timothy Boothe and Joshua Hall; four great grandchildren, Melissa Boothe, Latisha Boothe, Joshua Coultrie and Holden Hall; sisters, Thelma Wise of Kentucky and Norma Cook of Virginia; brothers, Andy Stevens and Goble Stevens, both of Virginia and Granville Stevens of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Robert Works, Jr. officiating. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Fike Funeral Home prior to the graveside service.
