Evelyn Marie Barnes

Evelyn Marie Barnes, 61, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 in a local health care facility. She worked at Shoney's for 8 years. Evelyn was a member of Community Hall Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Minnie Darling Beavers; husband, William Dean Barnes; infant son, David Dewayne Beavers; and brother, Paul Beavers. Survivors include her children, Angela Hile of Crystal River, FL and James Barnes of Cleveland; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; sisters, Dorothy Shaffer, Carolyn Dover, Glenda Beavers and Linda Greene, all of Cleveland and Gladys Sliger of Manchester; brothers, Jesse Beavers, James Beavers and Robert Beavers, all of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2014 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Jeannie Cissom and Brad Benton officiating. Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery with Richard Shaffer, Brandon Wilson, Dewayne Shaffer, Junior Martin, Nathan Beaty, Randy Flowers, Kevin Beaty and Adam Timmerman serving as pallbearers.
