Mary Louise Coleman Stephens, 89, of Charleston, passed away at her home in the Eureka Community on Sunday evening, March 23, 2014. During World War II she worked at the Oak Ridge Laboratories. She retired from M&M Mars where she worked in the cafeteria. She was a lifelong member of Candies Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Clint Johnston and Zellie Mae Johnston; two husbands, Pete Coleman and Clarence Stephens; sister, Luetta Webb; and daughter-in-law, Joyce Bunch Coleman. Survivors include her son, Frizzell Coleman and wife, Terri; grandchildren, Shane Coleman and wife, Becky and Felicia McAlister and husband, Jeremy; ten great grandchildren; niece, Doris Ann Wright and husband, Dr. Reed Wright; nephews, Robert Wright and Jimmy Wright; and special friends, Mary, Wanda, Eva and Myrtle. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Dr. Jamie Work and Dr. Reed Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Candies Creek Cemetery with Loy Proffitt, Larry Williams, Jim Hughes, Jeremy McAlister, Justin Jones, David Wright, Dean Colbough and Shane Coleman serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Morris Clark, Charlie Wattenbarger, Jacob Wright, Milton Hooper, Butch Hooper and Kevin Graham. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
