Dorothy L. Boring

Dorothy L. Boring, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, March 14, 2014. She worked at Appler's Shoe Store for over 20 years and was retired from the Bradley County Court House. Dorothy was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving sister and aunt. She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Willie Ingram Boring; brothers, Clifford Boring and Harvey Boring; and sister, Marie Boring. Survivors include her sisters, Violet Heifner and Virginia Boring, both of Cleveland and Juanita Epperson of Georgia; special niece, Denise Epperson of GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 17, 2014 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Lake Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Rural Vale Baptist Church Cemetery in Tellico Plains with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
