Mattie JoAnn Webb

Mattie JoAnn Webb, 75, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014. She and her late husband operated the "Burger Pantry" in the Village Bowling Lanes in the 1960's and 1970's. Mattie retired from Maytag after 30 years of service. She was a member of Clingan Ridge Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, H. D. and Gladys McKnight Holmes; husband, Billy Ray Webb; sisters, Kay Montgomery, Ruth Reyes and Jessie Samples; and brothers, Charles Holmes, John Doug Holmes, Jerry Holmes and Robert Holmes. Survivors include her daughter, Cathy Webb Matthews and husband, Don of Chattanooga; sisters, Sharon Liner and Michelle Rossi, both of Cleveland; and brother, Larry "Bud" Holmes of Cleveland. The memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Arris Cavender officiating.
