Taylor Neil Hicks

Taylor Neil Hicks, 77, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, February 28, 2014 at his residence. He was faithful in attendance at Everlasting Gospel Tabernacle and was a former member of Blue Springs Church of God, where he attended for many years. Taylor was a 1957 graduate of Bradley Central High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rhotan and Grace Hodgson Hicks; sisters, Alice Hardin and Ruth Hicks and brother, Charles Hicks. Survivors include his sister, Freda Whitted and husband, Dave of Cleveland; niece, Amy Lawson and husband, Keith of Cleveland; nephew, James Hardin and wife, Mickey of Calhoun; several great nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2014 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Johnny Staton officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. The family will receive friends from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
