Harold "Bucky" L. Geren, Jr.

Harold L. "Bucky" Geren, Jr., 66, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014 in a Chattanooga health care facility. He was a 1965 graduate of Bradley Central High School where he lettered in football. Bucky retired from the United States Marine Corps as a Master Gunnery Sergeant after 22 ½ years of service and was a Vietnam veteran. He was a member of Broad Street United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold L. Geren, Sr. and Monterey Flummer Geren. Survivors include his sister, Tana Cope of Cleveland; nephews, Jason R. Cope and Ryan C. Cope, both of Cleveland; and two great nieces, Kaley Cope and Cameron Cope, both of Cleveland. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2014 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors.
