Wilburn E. Griffith, 87, of Cleveland, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 11, 2014. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean Conflict. "Griff" was a widely known automobile dealer for over 50 years. He was a member of North Cleveland Church of God and the Unity Sunday School class. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Stella Griffith; and his faithful wife of 62 years, Rose Marie Chancey Griffith. Survivors include his son, Denny Griffith; daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Craig Runyon; grandchildren, Kyle Griffith Runyon, Laney Elizabeth Runyon and Chancey Griffith Harris and husband, Micah; sister, Bobbie Peck Ragsdale; sister-in-law, Barbara Crox; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2014 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Mitch Maloney and Pastor Cy Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with military honors. Barry Turpin, David Turpin, Roger Turpin, Ricky Butler, Glen Griffith and Benny Sellers will serve as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
