Charlotte Ann Mowery

Charlotte Ann Mowery, 63, of Delano, TN passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at her residence. She was a member of Calhoun 1st Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Ms. Mowery was a retired poultry farmer and office assistant at Cleveland Behavioral Health. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Mowery and Margaret Ray Mowery and brothers, Jimmy Mowery and Billy Mowery. She is survived by her children, Burt Stanley Jr. and wife, Melissa of Calhoun and Lori Firestone and husband, David of Delano; two grandchildren, Emma and Audrey Firestone; and one niece and nephew. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2014 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Cheatham officiating. Pallbearers will be Henry Clayton, Don Firestone, Charles Sayne, Ross Morrow, Lindy Hickman, and Danny Melton. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Brady and Emanuel Mowery. Interment will follow in Candies Creek Cemetery concluding with a white dove release ceremony. Her family will receive friends from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
