Joseph Lamonte DeBusk

Joseph Lamonte DeBusk, 74, of Cleveland passed away Monday, January 20, 2014 at his residence. He was of the Church of God faith and served in the United States Army. He was a carpenter, and was retired from Lee University after 16 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Edgar DeBusk and Evelyn Wells Jones and sister, Doris Daniels. He is survived by his wife, Patty DeBusk of Cleveland; children, Cindy Morris and husband, Ed of Ooltewah, and Joseph DeBusk, Jr. and Erin of Ruskin, FL; grandchildren, Heather Morris, Devin Morris, Holly Morris, Kristina Armstrong, Corey DeBusk, Kari Kelber, Gabriel Kelber, Braelyn DeBusk, Ashlyn DeBusk; three sisters, Eileen Capps of Crystal River, FL, Gail Bradley of Ocala, FL, and Wanda Jones of Chiefland, FL; and two brothers, Wayne DeBusk of Eustis, FL and Mike Sasser of Sopchoppy, FL. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2014 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Casto officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
