Ricky Gene Flowers

Ricky Gene Flowers, 54, of Benton, TN, passed away Monday evening, July 29, 2013 at the family residence. He was the son of the late Mary Lee Wright Flowers and William Arvel Flowers. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Bobby Gene Flowers, James Arvel Flowers, and his special friend, Henry Rose. He was well known as being a hard worker and helping anyone that he could. He was employed with Hardwood Frames of America for 25 years. He loved helping others and spending every day with his family. He was a very loving husband, brother and stepfather. He was a member of Freedom Fellowship where he loved praising the Lord. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Ann "Rose" Flowers; step-daughters, Elizabeth Lee Winters and Samantha Faye Shipley; brother, William Roy Flowers and wife Barbara; grandson, William Jonah Winters; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Jeraldine Rose; brothers-in-law, Randy and Linda Byers, David and Margaret Rose, Matthew and Angie Rose, Don and Kimberly Rose; sister-in-law, Diane Calfee; and several nieces, nephews, and special friends. The remembrance of life service will be Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Frank Evans and Jeremy Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Charleston Cemetery with special friends, Jeremy Jones, Randy Jones, Brandon Evans, Chase Evans, Tim King, and Jeff Wofley serving as the pallbearers. A white dove release will conclude the ceremony. His family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2013.
