Clarence Lee Johnson

Clarence Lee Johnson, 89, of Cleveland went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 26, 2013 at his home. He was a retired self employed carpenter. Mr. Johnson was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Henry Johnson and Sarah Wright Johnson; and brothers and sisters, Pryor Johnson and wife, Pearl, Pearlie Mae Johnson Clark and husband, Loyle, Bufford Arnold Johnson and wife, Mildred Hensley Johnson, Rachel Johnson Crittenden and husband, Bill Crittenden and Dorothy Johnson. Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Betty Henley Johnson of Cleveland; children, Leonard Johnson, Faye Johnson King, Rickey Johnson and James Johnson, all of Cleveland, Jeannie Johnson Allen and husband, Andy of Goldsboro, NC, Carol Johnson McCutcheon and husband, Steve of Hixson and Connie Johnson Scheuermeier and husband, David of Lafayette, GA; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 28, 2013 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Humberd officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. His family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
