Harold G. Robinson

Harold G. Robinson, Jr., 90, a resident of Cleveland, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2013. Harold was born in Charleston, West Virginia on November 11, 1922. He was a graduate of West Virginia University. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1942 and served with the 87th Infantry in Europe. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. His wife, Betty, preceded him in death on March 26, 2003. He is survived by his children, Valerie Robinson Edwards (husband Jonathan Fitzgerald); of Orlando, Florida; Harold Robinson, III, of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and Cindy Robinson, of Carey, North Carolina; and one nephew, Thomas Robinson, of Dunbar, West Virginia. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Cheathem officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with military honors. The service will conclude with a white dove release ceremony.
