Park Winters Wilson, Jr., 85, of Benton, formerly of Athens, passed away Friday, June 14, 2013, at his home. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was a self-employed contractor and was happily using his carpentry skills in his retirement. He was also an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Wilson who passed away earlier this year. His parents, Park Winters and Beulah Parks Wilson, also preceded him in death as well as two brothers, Jack Wilson and Bill Wilson. He is survived by two daughters and spouses: Donna and Kim Randolph of Cleveland, and Susan and Tim Rayburn of Mebane, NC; five grandchildren: Jason Randolph and wife Katie of Atlanta, Jeremy Randolph and wife Kathryn of Cleveland, Bethany Hogan and husband John of Cleveland, Chad Rayburn of Atlanta, and Michael Rayburn and wife Lauren of Haw River, NC; seven great grandchildren: Abi and Max Randolph, Ella and Sam Randolph, Noah and Henry Hogan, and Elijah Rayburn; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2013, at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Athens, TN with Rev. Steve Brown officiating. Jason Randolph, Jeremy Randolph, Chad Rayburn, Michael Rayburn, John Hogan and Kent Wilson will serve as pallbearers.
