Steve Franklin Stewart, 42, of Benton, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013 at his home. He was a graduate of Polk County High School class of 1990 and a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ben and Iva Fagg and Lizzy Stewart and one brother, Jamie Overton. Survivors include his wife, Karen Bivens Stewart of Benton; parents, Steve and Dianne Stewart of Benton; siblings, Derida Waters and husband, Jackie of Benton, Kimberly Leamon of Benton and Richard Overton of Cleveland; one niece and several nephews, Libby Stewart, Brad Stewart, Kadan Willis, Landon Willis, Adam Willis, Lance Stewart, Drake Willis, Jeff Stewart and wife , Jada; uncles, Stanley and Roger Stewart; several aunts, uncles and family members also survive. He also leaves behind his faithful four-legged companions, dogs, Ralph and Bob and rabbit, Wiggles. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Pine Ridge Baptist Church with the Reverend Kenneth Walker and the Reverend Carl Haulk officiating. Interment will follow in Benton Memorial Gardens. His family will receive friends from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Fike Funeral Home and on Sunday from 1:00- 2:00 at the church prior to the service.
