Boyd Lee Fisher, 79, of Lehigh Acres, FL, peacefully passed away on May 21, 2013. Boyd was born in Benton, Tennessee on December 31, 1933. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps for two years, and retired after 20 years from the U.S. Army with rank of Sergeant First Class. After his time in the military, he worked in maintenance at Mallory/Duracell Battery in Cleveland, TN, later owning a resale shop also in Cleveland, and lastly working as a welder for Florida Aluminum and Steel in Fort, Myers, FL. He loved fishing, gardening and woodworking; making much of his own furniture as well as items for others. He loved the outdoors in general and his dogs. Boyd loved family gatherings at his home where he enjoyed cooking for everyone. He will be greatly missed by all of his family. He set great examples on how one should live and carry out their lives and walked in shoes that none of us could dream to fill. If he was here right now, he would say, "I'm GREAT!"
