Jerry L. Gladson

Jerry Gladson, 62, a resident of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013 in a Spencer, TN healthcare facility. He was a member of Christ Unity Church in Chattanooga. He held a B.S. and Masters Degree in Family Counseling from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He was an accomplished singer and guitar player who was involved in several local bands. He was retired from Provident. He was preceded in death by his parents, James L. Gladson and Kathleen Ikard Gladson. Survivors include his brother, Jim Gladson of Chattanooga; one nephew and one great-nephew. Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2013 in Fort Hill Cemetery. The family will depart Fike Funeral Home on Monday at 2:30 in procession to the cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
