Lillian F. Blankinship, 88, a resident of Cleveland passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2013 in a Chattanooga hospital. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. Mrs. Blankinship was retired from C. C. Blankinship & Sons Construction Company where she was a bookkeeper for 35 years. She was a former member of the Home Demonstration Club. She loved being outside, working in her flowers and picking her blueberries. She was preceded in death by her husband, C. C. Blankinship; parents, George E. and Byrdie Monger Fann, Sr.; brothers: George Fann, Jr., B. A. Fann, Denton Fann and Butch Fann. Survivors include her children: Charles E. Blankinship (Judy) of Georgetown, James F. "Jim" Blankinship (Gwen) of Cleveland, Sandra "Sam" Rogers (Don) of Cleveland, Cheryl Inscore (Don) of Cleveland, and Susan Goodwin (Peter) of Cleveland; step-daughter, Charlene Orr (Leo) of Hartselle, Alabama; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Jordan of White Bluff, TN and Durene "Tootsie" Ridenour of Marietta, GA. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Allan Lovelace officiating. Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery with Tyler Lawson, Chad Lawson, Michael Blankinship, Jason Blankinship, Ben Inscore and Andy Rogers serving as pallbearers. Kevin Blankinship will serve as honorary pallbearer. The service will conclude with a white dove release ceremony. Her family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
