Thomas Wayne Couch, 72, a lifelong resident of Bradley County passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at his home. He was of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. Couch was a skilled carpenter where he was a member of the Chattanooga Carpenter's Union. In his spare time, he enjoyed tennis, Nascar and walking on the beach. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Barbara Dean Couch who passed away only one month prior to Mr. Couch's death; his father and mother, Walter and Nina Parker Couch; his grandson, Andrew Thomas Lambert; and his sister, Barbara Holmes. Survivors include his daughter, Tonya Fletcher and husband, Kenny of Sarasota, FL; two grandchildren, Tiffany Lambert and Matti Claire Fletcher both of Cleveland; one great grandson Cayden Johnson of Cleveland; three nieces, Dorisa Lynn Curry and husband, Larry, Donna Owens, Samm Davis and husband, Tim; and one nephew, Chuck Holmes. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Reverend Albert Ellis officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony. Johnny Ledwell, Jason Ledwell, Larry Curry, Aaron Jones, Dalton Hodgson, and Bobby Wright will serve as pallbearers.
