Toby Charles Willis, 43, a resident of Nashville and formerly of Cleveland passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013 in a Nashville hospital following complications from a massive stroke. He was a graduate of Cleveland High School class of 1988 and attended the University of the South in Sewanee. Mr. Willis attended St. Luke's Episcopal Church while in Cleveland. He was the first chef at Garden Plaza in Cleveland and was currently at the M. Restaurant in Cummins Station in Nashville. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wallace and Margaret Rymer and Willard and Mary Willis. Survivors include his loving parents, Ronald and Betty Rymer Willis of Cleveland; one uncle, Wallace David Rymer and one aunt, Ann Massingale both of Cleveland; cousins, Kelly DeLude and James Massingale both of Cleveland, and Andrea Rymer Lea and husband, Jeff of Lebanon; special cousin and family, Keith Dooley and wife, Tara and their child, Morgan and Juanita Dooley all of Charlotte, N.C.; great-aunts, Florence Cooke and Dorothy Bivens both of Cleveland. A graveside service will be conducted at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Joel Huffstetler officiating.
