Amy Sue Carroll

Amy Sue Carroll, 73, a resident of Spring City, TN and formerly of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at a local healthcare facility. She was born Amy Sue Turner on July 15, 1939, in Nashville, Arkansas to parents Lorene and Troy Turner, with whom she spent her childhood in Mineral Springs, Arkansas along with one sister and two brothers. She was of the Methodist faith, and enjoyed sewing and quilting as her favorite hobbies. Mrs. Carroll is survived by her brother Billy Turner of Rancho Cordova, CA; sons, Dale J Dobbs of Pasadena, CA, David Dobbs of Dayton, TN, and Brian S. Dobbs of Hurricane, WV; daughters, Diane Johnson of Galatin, TN, Susie Napier of Wayne, WV, and Janie Dobbs of Galatin, TN; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Carroll; her mother, Lorene Turner; her father, Troy Turner; her sister, Joann Haskin; and her brother, Carl Turner.
