Willodene P. Demetry, a resident of Cleveland passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at a local healthcare facility. She was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Chattanooga. Willodene was a former beautician at Duff's Studio of Beauty and was also employed with Chandlers Fabrics. She volunteered for 30 years in the Gift Shop at Bradley Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed sewing and working in her yard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Demetry; parents, Eunith Painter and Maud Clark Painter; and brother, Denver Painter. Survivors include her niece, Denean (Alvin) O'Neil of Cleveland; uncle, Clifford Painter of Ellijay, GA; and sister-in-law, Frankie Painter of Cleveland. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2013 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Father Stavros Ballas officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens chapel mausoleum. Her family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
