Geraldine Hull

Geraldine Hicks Hull, 81, a resident of Athens and formerly of Cleveland peacefully passed away Friday, January 11, 2013 at her home. She retired from Magic Chef after 35 years of service and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Hull; parents, Isom and Bertha Hicks; brothers, Carson Hicks, Joe Hicks and Cletus Hicks; sisters, Delsie Dawson, Bernice Higgenbottom and Shelby "Sib" Carpenter. Survivors include her two daughters, Cathy (Ricky) Lingerfelt of Athens and Gayla (Glenn "Pete") Ward of Cleveland; grandsons: Keith (Shanna) Lingerfelt of Lousiville, TN, Eric (Amanda) Gibson of Cleveland and Clay (Tabitha) Ward of Cleveland; granddaughter, Sandy (Ken) Harrison of Cleveland; great grandchildren: Brock, Reid, Braylen and Drake Gibson, Alexus, Chesney, Kinley, and Kason Lingerfelt, Ryan and Caramie Lowe, Kody and Meghan Ward, Haley Roe and Davin Flowers Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2013 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Reverend Gregg Hutsell officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 14, 2013 in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Eric Gibson, Keith Lingerfelt, Clay Ward, Brock Gibson, Ryan Lowe, Kody Ward and Reid Gibson serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the funeral home prior to the service.
