Virginia M. McCamish

Virginia M. McCamish, 72, a lifelong resident of Calhoun passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012 in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of Calhoun First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy M.McCamish; father, Carl T. McGee; mother, Jean Runion Swafford. Survivors include her sister, Polly Shamblin (Wes) of Calhoun; brother, Doug McGee (Scheria) of Cleveland; nieces, Leslie Keck of Cleveland and Bobbie Padgett of Kansas; nephews: Mickey Shamblin and Joe Shamblin of Cleveland, Doug McGee, Jr. and Bill McGee of Alabama; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 17, 2012 in the chapel of Fike Funeral home with the Reverend Kevin Cheatham officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2012 in the Calhoun Cemetery with Mickey Shamblin, Joe Shamblin, Cody Keck, Tanner Shamblin, Heath Shamblin and Eddie Pope serving as pallbearers. Hunter Shamblin and Trapper Shamblin will serve as honorary pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
