Willie Pearl Pittman, 84, a resident of Calhoun for the past 57 years and formerly of Bogalusa, Louisiana, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012 in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of Calhoun First Baptist Church where she was a former church clerk and Sunday school teacher. Mrs. Pittman was also a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, James B. Magee and Sadie M. Fauntleroy Magee; her husband, William L. Pittman; two brothers and three sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Judy Ann Allen and Fred of Charleston and her son, Bill Pittman and Charlotte of Calhoun; grandchildren, Leigh Ann Burgess and Eric of Calhoun, Meredith Kathleen Feinauer and Jason of Ooltewah, William Casey Pittman and fiancée, Monique Ledford of Benton, and Christopher Lee Pittman and Cayci of Charleston; and four great-grandchildren, William Neyland Burgess, Rachel Ann Burgess, Emma Katherine Feinauer, and Andrew William Feinauer. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Monday, October 1, 2012 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Pastor Kevin Cheatham officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 with Don Guthrie, Casey Pittman, Chris Pittman, Eddie Smith, Chris Dodson, and Sidney Breaux serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Townsend and Charles Burger. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:30 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
