Ethel O. Bullard

Ethel Odell Bullard, 95, a resident of Cleveland passed away Thursday, September 6, 2012 at her home. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Bullard was a homemaker. She dearly loved her family and always looked forward to family gatherings. She enjoyed sewing and craft work. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie A. Bullard; parents, Earnest and Pearl Carson; son, Jesse Hoyle Bullard; grandson, Ricky Doyle Bullard; brothers, John Carson and Alvin Carson; daughter-in-law, Gladys Bullard; and several step-sisters. Survivors include four sons: Ray Bullard (Wanda), Jerry Bullard (Patsy), Ronald Bullard (Barbara) and Robert Bullard all of Cleveland; two daughters, Alice Schenbel (Bob) of Texas and Susan Brackin (Raymond) of Cleveland; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; sister Alice Parker (Hansel) of GA; step-sister, Sarah Ownby; step-brother, James McCurry and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 10, 2012 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Russell Langford officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2012 in Sunset Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home prior to the service. Her family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association, Macedonia Baptist Church the Lord's Stitchers, Waterville Baptist Church Building Fund, or the American Cancer Society.
