Kenny C. Longwith

Kenneth C. "Kenny" Longwith, 45, a lifelong resident of Bradley County passed away Monday, August 20, 2012 at his home. He had been employed at Bowater Paper Mill for the last 25 years. Kenny was an avid car lover, his passion was show cars and motorcycles, he attended all the car shows in the local area. He enjoyed playing basketball with his friends. Kenny was loved by all who met him and he was a friend to all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles "Preacher" Longwith. Survivors include his mother, Gwen Longwith of Charleston; brother, Jimmy Longwith (Donna) of Rock Hill, SC; two aunts; several cousins and a host of friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2012 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Cheatham officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. His family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
