Lela Wagner

Lela Wagner, 94, a resident of Cleveland passed away Sunday, August 19, 2012 at a local healthcare facility. She was a longtime member of New Prospect Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a former member of Hopewell Home Demonstration Club and Volunteer at Cleveland Community Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Wagner; parents, James Dallas Reed and Lilly Ester Oliver Reed and sister, Robbie Nell Reed. Survivors include her sons, Joe Wagner and wife Ruth, Rex Allen Wagner and wife Anne all of Cleveland and David Paul Wagner of Columbus, Ohio; grandson, Jacob Paul Conner Wagner of Cleveland; brother, S.T. Reed and wife Lessie Dean of Collinsville, Al, sisters, Sue Wills of Fort Payne, Al, Eulene Dobbs and husband Noah of Fort Payne, AL, and Ardell Turnure of Madison, AL; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2012 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with family members serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
