Mary Marie Fritts, 62, a resident of Cleveland went to Heaven to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 22, 2012 after fighting a battle with cancer. She was a member of Philippi Baptist Church and was employed with American Uniform Company for over 27 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Frances Farris; brother, Gene Farris and father-in-law, J.L. Fritts. Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Franklin A. Fritts; son, Shane Fritts; daughter, Tina Roberts and husband, Kyle Roberts; three grandchildren, Zach, Faith and Jacob Roberts all of Cleveland; sisters, Ida Ruth Blackwell of GA, Ella Register and husband Stephen of Chipley, Fla., Linda Shockly of Knoxville and Patty Scott and husband James; brothers, Robbie Farris and wife Jane and Perry Farris and wife Becky all of Cleveland; David Farris and wife Dean of Benton; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Fritts; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Debbie Garland and Glenn and Sandra Fannin all of Cleveland and Mel and Sharon Moss of Crossville, TN; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2012 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Reverend Sammy Hooker and the Reverend Johnny Hood officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Jacob Roberts, Perry Farris, Robbie Farris, David Farris, Jerry Garland and Stephen Register serving as pallbearers. James Scott, Glenn Fannin, Mel Moss, Michael Fannin, Billy Farris, Steve Farris, Daniel Farris, Robbie Farris, Jr, Perry Farris, Jr, and Ronnie Farris will serve as honorary pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2012 at the funeral home.
