Ramona L. Burrell

Ramona L. Burrell, 83, a resident of Athens, Alabama and formerly of Cleveland passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 in a healthcare facility in Ardmore, TN. She was a member of Jordan Park Church of Christ in Huntsville, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Burrell; parents, Claude and Lily Watkins Greene; daughter, Patricia Long; sons, Ronnie Long, Jimmy Long and Anthony Long; granddaughter, Nicole Bradley; grandson, Jerry Hill and one sister. Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Bradley and husband, Marlon; daughters-in-law, Janet Letwer, Peggy Long and Becky Long; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sister, Juanita Alexander; brothers, George Greene and Tommy Greene. Funeral services will be conducted immediately following visitation on Saturday, March 10, 2012 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Minister Jeff Archey officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the funeral home prior to the service.
