Thomas Roy Harrison

Thomas Roy Harrison, 70, a lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012 in a local hospital. He was a member of Valley Head United Methodist Church where he served as pianist and organist. Mr. Harrison was retired from Schering Plough after 20 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Ruth Gamble Harrison; sister, Wilma Harrison Murphy; brother, Paul Harrison. Survivors include, niece, Sherry Goforth of Cleveland; cousins, Richard Harrison of Cleveland, Martha Ledford of Cleveland, Carl Harrison of Soddy Daisy and Margaret Harrison of Maryville. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Reverend Lyle White officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2012 in Fort Hill Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
