William K. "Bill" Robinson, 75, a resident of Cleveland passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2012 in a local hospital. He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday school for 25 years. He coached and played both softball and basketball and he loved all sports. Bill loved jokes, but he especially loved his grandkids. Bill retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad after 43 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Earl Robinson and Gladys Robinson Harris. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Raylene Robinson; children, Jeff Robinson, Ken Robinson and wife, Mitzi and Stephanie West and husband, Alex, all of Cleveland; eleven grandchildren, Meredith, Jared and Kelsey Robinson, Ashley Baker and husband, Lee, Holly Robinson, David Robinson, and Carlye, Elijah, Michaela, Micah and Ezekiel West; one great-grandson, Caleb Baker and sister, Joyce Hamilton of Sweetwater. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Westwood Baptist Church with Jim Caywood and Pastor Steve Smartt officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 - 2:00 at the church prior to the service.
