Paula Wilson, 64, a longtime resident of Cleveland passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012 surrounded by her family. Paula was employed with Jackson Manufacturing Company for almost 20 years; she loved her job. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, VFW local post 2598. Paula loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a giving person whose door was always open. She was preceded in death by her two fathers, Elbert "Mack" McDowell and Charles Wilson. She is survived by her four children, Shane Caywood, Eric Caywood and Nathan (Vickie) Caywood all of Cleveland and her daughter, Erin (Mike) Gray of Savannah, GA; grandchildren: Zackary, Rebecca, Hayley, Tess, Shayla, Candace, Heather, Krista and Dakota; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; mother, June McDowell of Cleveland; sisters, Malea (Jake) McClanahan of Cleveland and Dale (Jerry) McClellan of Salem, Indiana. She was loved and will be greatly missed by many. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2012 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Terry Caywood officiating. Interment will follow in Hopewell Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, January 23, 2012 and Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the funeral home.
