Nada Ann Leamon Floyd

August 16, 1945 — December 22, 2011

Nada Ann Leamon Floyd, 66, a resident of Rising Fawn, GA, and a former resident of Cleveland for many years, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2011 in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. She was a devoted mother and caregiver. She was a member of Lookout Mountain Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Sim and Vinnie Burrell Martin, husband, Gene Floyd, brother, Jim Martin, and sisters, Mattie Lee and Betty Ellis. Survivors include her daughter, Sandy Derryberry of Lookout Mountain, GA, three sons; Command Sgt. Major David Leamon and wife, Haevenly of Fort Bragg, NC, Jim Leamon and wife, Kathy of Boca Raton, FL, and Mark Leamon of Signal Mountain, TN, four grandchildren; Lauren Derryberry, Joseph Derryberry, Thomas Leamon, and Martin Leamon, sister, Peggy Jamerson and husband Peyton, and brother, Harold Martin and wife, Gloria, all of Cleveland. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Strauss officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
