John Leonard Hutchins

John Leonard Hutchins, 66 a resident of Cleveland passed away Friday, December 16, 2011 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was an active member of Faith Memorial Church where he was on staff for the last 20 years. He served as Youth Pastor, was an active member of the deacon board and treasurer of the Out Reach Ministry. He was a former employee of J.H. Kellman Industry and was presently self-employed. He attended Hiwassee College, TN Tech and Berry H.S. Academy. He was a loving father, grandfather and husband. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kay Shoemaker. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Hutchins; children, John Hutchins and his wife Mary and Tammie Hutchins Cheek; grandchildren, Matthew Cheek, Eleanor Hutchins and William Hutchins all of Cleveland. Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Faith Memorial Church with Pastor David Riggs officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the church prior to the service.
