Carolyn Ruth Farabee

Carolyn Ruth Farabee, 63, a resident of Cleveland passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2011 in a Chattanooga hospital. She moved to Cleveland from Washington D.C. in 1963. She was a graduate of Bradley Central High School class of 1966. Ms. Farabee was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She was the past Worthy Matron of the Ocoee Chapter #420 of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Edward and Frances Varnell Farabee. Survivors include her sister, Karlene Farabee of Cleveland and one aunt, Rebecca Varnell of Cleveland. Several cousins also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Huff officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery with William Varnell, Warren Varnell, Tim Garrett, Wayne Varnell, Tyler Garrett, James Rymer and Sam Rymer serving as pallbearers.
