Charles Fletcher Boling, Sr., 68, a resident of Etowah passed away Friday, September 30, 2011. He enjoyed cattle farming and was retired from Allied Bendix after 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Gladys Lucille Brock Boling; son, Charles Fletcher Boling, Jr.; brothers and sisters, Virginia Boling, Louise Taylor, Julian Boling, Sam Boling, Nancy Trammell and Ivy Boling. He is survived by his two daughters, Priscilla McDonald of Charleston and Paula Arp of Cleveland; seven grandchildren, Jeremy Connors, Christan Smith, Deanna McDonald, Ryan and Darren Boling and Michelle and Cody Arp; six great-grandchildren, Brooke Connors, Skyler Newberry, Sierra Newberry, Elijah Rigsby, Jaelyn Smith and Alaina Boling; three surviving sisters, Becky McKeel, Patricia Geren and Betty Guinn, all of Cleveland. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jay McCluskey officiating.
