Mamie A. Beck, 73, a resident of Cleveland passed away Friday, August 12, 2011 in a local hospital. She was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Country Gospel Music Association and a member of the gospel singing group, Mother Beck and The Beck Family. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Ed Goode and Letha Oliver Goode; son, Chris Pierce and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Clyde Beck of Cleveland; children, Bud Pierce (Tammy) of Cleveland, Letha Gibson (Tom) of Cleveland, Tammy Green (Jerry) of Cleveland and Jennifer Tucker (Rob) of Cleveland; stepsons, Jamie Beck (Trudy), Ray Beck (Cathy), Marty Beck (Karen) and Allen Beck (Darlene) all of Cleveland; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and sister, Catherine Millsap of Chatsworth, GA Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2011 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Isaac Walker, Pastor Margie Poteat and Pastor Benny Watson officiating. Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery, McDonald, TN with Tom Gibson, Jerry Green, J.J. Beck, Joe Cross, Steven Callahan and Wesley Beck serving as pallbearers.
