Barbara F. James, 76, a lifetime resident of Cleveland died June 7, 2011 at a local hospital after a lifelong battle of heart disease. Loving wife, mother and grandmother, Barbara knew everything was alright in her life if she led a life pleasing to God and she was able to take care of her family's needs. She always put God first in her life, then family and friends. She never desired anything for herself; she found pleasure from helping others. She will be sadly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Lena Maddux; sisters, Dorothy Murray and Shirley Lane; brothers, Jack Maddux, Ronald Maddux and Stevie Maddux. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, D.C. James; devoted son and his wife, Terry and Karen James; granddaughters and husbands, Tara and Jason Ledford and Amanda and Richard Hall; great grandchildren, Riley Hall, Kaitlyn Hall and Braiden Ledford; brothers, Dennis Maddux (Louise), and Sidney Maddux; sister, Mary Jo Owens(Ed). Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 10, 2011 in Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Jack James officiating. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
