Peggy June England

Peggy June England, 71, a resident of Cleveland, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on Saturday, May 28, 2011 in a local hospital. She loved and enjoyed her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Creed and Ella Kate Wallace and her sister, Marion Ledford. Survivors include her son, Steve Wallace and daughter, Creedia K. York (Michael) all of Cleveland; grandchildren, April York Berman (Michael), Mike York (Marie), Jason York (Brittany Martin) and Charlie Stiles; great grandchildren, Lawson and Gavin Berman, Jonathan and Nathaniel York and J.R. Rodgers; sister, Mollie Clark (Jimmy); niece, Ami Tallent (Doyle); nephew, Larry Ledford (Sherrie); great niece and nephew, Devyn and Chloe Tallent and special cousin, Ruth Pullen. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, May 29, 2011 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Reverend Doyle Tallent officiating. Interment will follow in the Chestuee Cemetery with Hugh Clark, J.R. Rodgers, Mike York, Jason York, Michael Berman and Jimmy Clark serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
