For nearly 60 years, he faithfully served as evangelist and pastor with the Church of God, traveling in his later years with his son, Perry, Jr. Fred was known by friends and family as a man of integrity, a great prayer warrior, and a man of great faith. He did not leave material wealth, but he left a good name and a spiritual legacy. He was preceded in death by his parents, William H. and Nalva Dunford Stone. He will be greatly missed by Juanita Stone, his wife of 56 years; his children, Diana Stone, Perry Fred Stone, Jr. and wife, Pam, Phillip Stone and wife, Kerry and Melanie Stone, all of Cleveland; his four grandchildren, Jonathan Stone, Amanda Stone, Nathan Stone and Grace Stone; his 7 living brothers and sisters; and friends around the world. Lowery, Pastor Mitch Maloney, the Reverend Tommy Bates and Dr. Perry Fred Stone, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Ramsey Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:30 p.m. at the T. L. Lowery Ministry Center prior to the service. The family knows that Fred's mantle for ministry passed to the younger generation when he departed so the family requests that you donate toward something that will last for eternity.
