Glenna Jewel Hunt

Glenna Jewel Hunt, 76, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, February 25, 2011 at her home. She was an executive secretary with Magic Chef for 12 years. She was a charter member of Tasso Baptist Church where she had served as church secretary, Sunday School teacher and Vacation Bible School superintendent. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Willie Fugate Paul and two brothers, James Henley Paul and Kenneth Ralph Paul. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Everette L. Hunt of Cleveland; children, Victor G. Paul and Anthony Howard Hunt and wife, Tonya, all of Cleveland; children by choice, Lee Hunt of Ider, AL and Penny Weathers of Cleveland; five grandchildren, Jennifer Hunt, T.D. Hunt, Amanda Weathers, Angela Allen and Brian Hunt; two great grandchildren; sister, Ruby Parks of Huntsville, AL; brother, Bill Paul and wife, Nancy of Riceville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Tasso Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Cawood and Pastor Tom Moncrief officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Fike Funeral Home Home.
