Bertie Millard Withrow Bertie Millard Withrow, 89, of Cleveland, went to be with her Savior on Thursday, February 17, 2011. She was born May 13, 1921 to William and Lucina Mowery Millard. She was a faithful member of Philippi Baptist Church for many years. She was retired from Bradley Memorial Hospital where she worked as a nurse's assistant. She also operated a day care in her home for many years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Withrow; daughter, Patricia Gale Mathews; and infant granddaughter, Kimberly Gale Mathews. She is survived by her only grandson, Adam Robert Mathews; son-in-law, Howard Mathews and his wife, Joy, all of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Hooker officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with members of Philippi Baptist Church serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
