Cecil R. Singleton

Cecil R. Singleton, 73, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011 in a local hospital. He was a millwright with Bowater for 40 years. He was of the Christian faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Nancy West Singleton. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jerri Parton Singleton of Cleveland; children, Kathy Ramirez and husband, Joe and Cynthia Triplett and husband, Mark, all of Cleveland; grandchildren, Joe Ramirez, IV and Ethan Triplett, both of Cleveland; and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2011 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Doyle McCracken officiating. Interment will follow in Ramsey Cemetery with Mark Triplett, Joe Ramirez III, Joe Ramirez, IV, Jimmy Lyles, Tracy Sneed and Andy Sneed serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
