Texas "Louise" Branam, 76, of Cleveland, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 8, 2011. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was an avid doll collector. She was also a member of Bridgemakers and loved to travel. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Branam; parents, Joe and Julie Richardson Williams; and brother, Billy Ray Williams. She is survived by her sons, Greg Branam and wife, Debbie of Murfreesboro and Chuck Branam and wife, Brenda of Cleveland; grandchildren, Trevor Branam, Bradley Branam and Brittini Branam; sisters, Joanne Cross and husband, JM of Benton, Betty "Winkie" Bishop of Signal Mountain and Ester Mikle of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews; and her very special friends from Garden Plaza. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2011 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Moncrief and Pastor Rusty Asble officiating. Interment will be follow in Benton Memorial Gardens with Trevor Branam, James Peck, Jerry Richardson, Steve Lewis, Doug Bishop and Donnie Yates serving as pallbearers. Wendell Richardson and Bill Griffith will serve as honorary pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home and on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
