Ruby I. Ratcliff Harvey Elliott, 91, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, November 22, 2010. She was a long time resident of Bradley County. She was co-owner of Harvey's Grocery for 20 years. She was a member of Four Point Baptist Church. She was faithful to her church and served as Sunday School Teacher and visitation worker. She was very active in the Senior Citizens Group. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emory and Nell Climer Ratcfliff; brothers, Charles, Glenn, Harold, Cecil and Willard Ratcliff; sisters, Emma Jean Ratcliff and Helena Ratcliff Gibson; husband, Joseph Clarence "Bud" Harvey; daughter, Helena Harvey Sartin; great granddaughter, Sophie Lynn Ethridge; and second husband, Reverend Leeman Elliott. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Norma and Bruce Ritchey of Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Vicki Harvey of Delano; brothers, J.D. Ratcliff of Dahlonega, GA and Fred Ratcliff of Warner Robbins, GA; grandchildren, Ginger Starnes, Melissa Lewis and husband, Bob, Rachel Ethridge and husband, Eric, Damon Sartin, Jonathan Sartin and wife, Renee, Jody Harvey and Scot Harvey and wife, Stephanie; 9 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 26, 2010 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Reverend Ray Cheatham officiating. Interment will follow in Michigan Avenue Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
